Dinner & A Movie

Materials: - Air-dry clay - Acrylic paint - Paper - Plates (one large, one small) - Cup - Water - Base structure - Scratchy blanket - Silverware (preferably forks) The Idea      My inspiration for this project came from the movie "Up." On the dinner table you will see two plates - one large and one small - to symbolize the older generation and the younger generation in the movie. The clay figure on the plate is the symbol for loyalty, which is a huge theme in the movie. The color blue also represents loyalty, hence why the figures are painted blue. The yellow water stands for happiness and friendship, which are large themes in the film, too. The crossing of the forks speaks to the significant action of crossing an "X" over the heart in "Up" as a sign of promise and loyalty. The yin-yang figure on the top right of the table is another symbol for duality between the old man and the young boy. Finally, the napkin with paw prints not only represe
